*********************************** | \ Slide down | / Slide up *********************************** Instructions for playing: -Use fingers 1 and 3 for the first two chords, then fingers 1, 3 and 4 for the third and fourth chords (you ma -y find it easier to use 1, 2 and 4 instead for the third chord however). Use your first finger for the slidy part at the end of the riff, followed by your second finger at the third fret of the thickest string. -Start off with your strumming hand's palm resting on the strings with your pick ready to play the chords. -To play the riff, lift your palm off the strings and strum the chord before lowering your palm again to stop it ringing out for too long. Repeat this for every chord in the riff. -Since your palm is taking care of the muting, you can keep the chords pressed down the entire time without lifting off, although it doesn't really matter if you find yourself doing this naturally anyways.
