The Rolling Stones tabs for Sister morphine Sister Morphine was released in 1971 on the Sticky Fingers album. When the song was recorded Brian Jones was unable to participate due to his drug abuse, he eventually died before the album was released. Ry Cooder plays the bottleneck guitar part. Richards also contributes on guitar. This is the only song on the Sticky Fingers album in which Mick Taylor does not also play guitar. Use these Sister Morphine guitar tabs to master Cooder's bottleneck guitar and Richards classic rock & roll guitar style.

Sister Morphine was credited to Jagger/Richards. Marianne Faithful was included as a co-writer, she wrote the lyrics, after legal battles. The song was first released by Marianne Faithful as a single. Only 500 copies were made. Mick Jagger, who was her boyfriend at the time, plays acoustic guitar on Faithful's version.
