EARLY ONE MORNING (Traditional) As old as time itself. Canadians of enough years (like me) know this music best as the theme to the kids' TV show "The Friendly Giant". G C G I heard a maiden singing...
[Chorus:] D (C) G D (C) G "Oh, don't deceive me, Oh ... G C D G How could you use, ... 2. "Oh gay is the garland, ... I've culled from the garden... 3. "Remember the vows, that ... Remember the bow'r, where ... 4. Thus sang the poor maid, ... Thus, sang the poor maid... [Repeat last line of chorus] submitted by: Ted Hermary czth@musica.mcgill.ca
