Grown Men Don't Cry - Tim Mcgraw ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tabbed by: Baghdad Brad Email: bcweitzel@yahoo.com This is my first published guitar tab, so go easy on me. You'll have to listen to the to get the correct timing, and keep in mind that, while this is close to the original, it not the oiginal (if you want that, go buy the song book). In other words, this is one those "I'm not gonna spend hours and hours and hours typing out exactly what you're to play in the correct timing" tabs. ;-) That being said, I broke it down into two guitar parts. Guitar 1 is mainly cleanly the same part on all verses and choruses (except the intro, interlude, and the end).
Guitar 2, on the other hand, is really a filler and is played basically in the intro and between lines in the verse. It sounds like in the first verse guitar 2 is just cleanly For the rest of the song it sounds like there's a string accompanyment. Not all of us a string quartet in our pocket, so continuing the pattern sounds pretty darn good. I know the fingering positioning for this could be better elsewhere, but this is the way I found to achieve that clean pickin' feel throughout the entire phrase. Special thanks to DaddyBk9 for his original chord progression. It was a big help!
