Song: Lifeless Dead Band: Mad Season Album: "Above" Mad season was a "side project" members from bands such as pearljam, alice and chains, and screaming tree's. The album is very interesting. This is track six from the CD. As i was listening to the CD this track caught my ear, so i decided to figure it out. Also on this CD is "river of deciet" which i think got some radio air time a year or so ago. Anyways, i think this is the correct tab, but i am open to suggestions. Feel free to mail me at rosenblm@maybaum.med.umich.edu. Enjoy! opening riff/chorus: e|-----------------------------------| B|-----------------------------------| G|-----------------------------------| D|-----7--7--5-----------------------| A|--------------6----0-3-3-4-5-0----| E|-----------------------------------|
verse: "Lifeless dead, that unclean bed....." e|-----------------------------| B|-----------------------------| G|-----------------------------| D|------5-7-5-7-----5-7-5-7---| A|-----------------------------| E|-----------------------------| play above (2x) then at the end of the second time add these two chords: e|--------------- | B|--------------- | G|---10---9\-----| D|---X----X------ | A|---8----7\-----| E|--------------- | play above a few times then play: "alone on dirty floor he slept...." e|------------------------|-----------------------| B|------------------------|-----------------------| G|------------------------|--10--9---5--5--4-----| D|---5-7-5-7---5-7-5-7---|--X---X---X--X--X------| A|------------------------|--8---7---3--3--2--0--| E|------------------------|-----------------------| After you play the above to end the "verse" you play the opening riff/chorus again as Layne Stanley says "yeah, lifleless dead...." This is basically what this song is composed of. There is a bridge in the middle, but i havn't had time to figure it out. If you listen to the CD you will get the order of the parts a bit easier.
