The resulting tuning is somewhat unwieldy, but for the purposes of this
tune, Chris Cornell manages to pull off some mighty fine licks. The song
essentially breaks down into 5 rhythm figures, which have been dentified in
the following tab. Bear in mind the length of the pattern when it repeats
elsewhere in the song. Enjoy this as long as you can, because I’ve busted
many a string tuning back up to standard after I was done playing this one!

Seasons tab
Chris Cornell is a well-known solo artist, but started his career in the bands Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden and Audioslave. A typical heavy metal singer with personality, but has been a songwriter and guitarist since day one.
This song, Seasons, can be heard in the 1991 movie “Singles”. He has also done many other songs which has been featured in movies and soundtracks.
