song: the package artist: a perfect circle album: thirteenth step tabbed by twiggy stardust this is a pretty easy song, i figureed it out in just one listening. i've been playing it on a fretless bass even though there aren't any slides, so it sounds the same on fretless or regular. if you're going to play it live though you may want to use some form of distortion for the heavy part. main riff G-------------------------------------------------D------------------------------------------------- A---5--7-----------------5--3--------------------- E----------0---0-3-3-0---------0---0-3-3-0-------- when maynard starts singing the "i need to get..." part play this riff the same just his the notes on the E string a whole lot harder so you get that grim evil sounding ring
